Hi! I'm Kayla and I am the owner of Bellou British Shorthairs!
I am 20 years old and live in East Gippsland with my family
on our 70 acre farm surrounded by our beloved animals.

B-EL-LOU is derived from the names of three of my beloved
late cats.
Bella was my first cat as a child, a black domestic shorthair.
Bruce was a Blue Solid British Shorthair my mother adopted
soon after we began our second time as cat owners with our
DLH Captain. Bruce was much beloved, biting any exposed
ankles he could, took every opportunity to steal food (not
that he needed it, bloody land whale).
We lost Bruce early in 2023.
Louis was my first British Shorthair - a beautiful Lilac Bicolour
boy with Cerebellar Hypoplasia. My Lou left this world far too
soon, after only a few weeks in my care but firmly cemented
my adoration for the British Shorthair breed as a whole.

Bellou British Shorthairs is a small cattery in Victoria boasting quality cats with imported bloodlines from Germany, France and New Zealand. We are registered with the Feline Control Council of Victoria.

All our kittens come desexed, microchipped with the Central Animal Register and having had their first two vaccinations. Once they have had their third vaccination you can send us a copy of the receipt for reimbursement of the vaccine cost, or we can pay your vet clinic directly.

Our kittens are well socialised to other animals and children, and raised in a home environment.

Kittens picked up, transported via pet courier within Victoria or Interstate (excluding kittens that travel by plane)  come with a Kitten Care Pack that includes everything you need including food, grooming supplies, bedding and toys.

Bellou British Shorthairs is a closed cattery and we do not allow in person visits to meet and select kittens, however we regularly post on our Facebook page and all available kittens are available to view on both Facebook and under the KITTENS tab of our website.
